Microplastic defense

You can't avoid microplastics.
You can defend against them.

A science-backed daily protocol, designed to support your body's natural way of handling everyday microplastic exposure.

The research

They're already inside us.

Brain
Higher than liver or kidney

Micro- and nanoplastics have been detected in human brain tissue at higher concentrations than in liver or kidney — and levels were higher in 2024 than in 2016.

Nature Medicine · 2025
Bile
Now found in the excretory system

Microplastics have been identified in human bile — one of the body's key routes for carrying waste out through the digestive tract.

Blood
Early, hopeful research

Researchers are exploring whether oral chitosan can help. In a small human pilot, a daily chitosan dose was associated with lower microplastic levels measured in blood.

Exposure through food, water, and packaging is essentially unavoidable — which is exactly why supporting your body's natural elimination pathways is worth doing every day.

How it works

A protocol, not a pill.

STEP 01

Mobilize

Sulforaphane supports your body's natural antioxidant and detoxification pathways.

Exocytosis Pulse
STEP 02

Dump

Bile-flow support helps move processed compounds into the digestive tract.

Exocytosis Pulse
STEP 03

Bind

Fungal chitosan binds to compounds in the gut, where much of your exposure lands.

Daily Defense
STEP 04

Excrete

A fiber matrix supports regularity, so what's bound can leave the body naturally.

Daily Defense

The system

Two products. One protocol.

Microplastic

Daily Defense

A citrus fiber drink built around 1000 mg of fungal chitosan, designed to support your body's natural elimination processes. One scoop a day, with your largest meal.

The science

Built on how your body already works.

Chitosan is a natural fiber that carries a positive charge in your stomach; many microplastics carry a negative one. Researchers are studying how that lets chitosan bind to microplastics in the digestive tract, so they can leave the body naturally.

Sulforaphane, from broccoli, is one of the most studied natural activators of your body's own antioxidant and detoxification systems — the machinery that processes the kinds of compounds microplastics carry.

We designed Unplastic as a protocol because binding is a daily need, while your body's deeper pathways are best supported in a periodic pulse. It's early science in a new field — and we're committed to being honest about what's known and what's still being explored.

Why we built this
"I spent a decade in supplements and a graduate program in environmental biotechnology. When the research on microplastics in our own bodies started landing, I couldn't un-see it. Unplastic is the protocol I built for my own family first."

Questions

The honest FAQ.

How does the protocol work?
Daily Defense is a fiber drink you take every day to support your body's natural binding and elimination processes in the gut. The Exocytosis Pulse is a 10-day capsule course you run once a quarter to support your body's deeper antioxidant and bile-flow pathways. Together they're designed as one system.
Is the chitosan from shellfish?
No. Our chitosan is derived from fungal (Aspergillus) fermentation — not shellfish — so it's allergen-free and aligned with our environmental mission.
Will I feel something right away?
It's a daily support routine, not a stimulant. Think of it like fiber or a greens powder — something you do consistently to support your body over time, not a buzz you feel in an hour.
Can I take both products together?
Yes — they're designed to work as a protocol. Daily Defense every day, the Exocytosis Pulse once a quarter.
Is the packaging really plastic-free?
That's the whole point of the name. We're launching with glass and certified compostable refills — because shipping a microplastic-defense product in plastic would defeat the purpose.
Who shouldn't use it?
Consult your healthcare provider before use, especially if you're pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or managing a health condition. These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
