What the research found
A spoon's worth of plastic in your brain. A credit card's worth swallowed every week. It's in blood, lungs, and placenta — and exposure never stops.
~7 g
of microplastic in the average human brain — a plastic spoon's worth, up ~50% since 2016.1
4.5×
higher risk of heart attack, stroke, or death when plastics are found in artery plaque.2
~5 g / wk
the plastic an average person may swallow each week — about the weight of a credit card.3

Exposure is everywhere
Water, food, air, dust. Avoidance helps — it can't get to zero.
Your body has a pathway
Early human research is exploring whether oral chitosan supports the excretion of microplastic particles.
BindMoveOut
Bind. Move. Out.
Chitosan 1,000 mg binds particles in the gut; a pectin hydrogel moves them through; they exit naturally.
You can't avoid it — but you can clear more of it. Here's the science.
What the research on chitosan found
+47%
more microplastic
excreted
Taking chitosan with a meal moved more microplastic out of the body — measured directly in what left it.
In a 2025 human crossover study, volunteers excreted ~47% more microplastic particles in stool when chitosan was taken with a standardized meal versus the meal alone. An animal model pointed the same way: more out, less retained in the gut.4,5

Honest by design
No "detox" hype. We cite peer-reviewed research and describe the mechanism plainly.
Transparent dosing
1,000 mg chitosan · 500 mg apple pectin · 500 mg glycine. Every milligram on the label. Marine or mushroom source.
Certified compostable
A microplastic blocker shouldn't ship in future microplastics. The pouch is kraft paper with a cellulose liner — it composts.
